In June 2014 the Government launched their Cyber Essentials programme – a two tier scheme with a set of basic technical controls to help organisations protect themselves against common online security threats. The scheme is designed to help UK organisations improve their defences and demonstrate publicly their commitment to cyber security. The Two Point Zero team are proud to announce they have recently achieved their Cyber Essentials accreditation certificate.

The Cyber Essentials scheme helps organisations to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data stored on devices which connect to the Internet

The scheme addresses the most common Internet-based threats to cyber security — particularly, attacks that use widely available tools and demand little skill such as hacking, phishing and password guessing.

Two Point Zero are fully focused on securing IT and customer data against cyber attack and achieving the accreditation is another step towards demonstrating that commitment.
